Judy Johnston is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit and County Court Mediator.  She mediates in all circuits via Zoom.  In person mediation is available upon request.

Judy hales from Minnesota where she is a licensed attorney.  As a trial lawyer, she tried more than 200 jury trials, both civil and criminal, and has negotiated countless cases.  She is also an accomplished trainer, having developed and delivered advanced trial advocacy courses and an ethics curriculum for legal professionals.  Judy also taught advanced trial advocacy at William Mitchell College of Law.  She has trained legal professionals nationwide.

Judy brings expertise in personal injury cases, landlord-tenant cases, contract disputes, creditor debtor issues and more.  She currently volunteers her mediation services in Sarasota County, Florida.

HOA disputes are an area of particular interest to her.  She is an owner in a Florida condominium association and, has, in the past, served as a Board member for her association.  Judy is also a Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM).  Her knowledge as a homeowner, previous board member, and LCAM make her uniquely qualified to understand issues that arise in homeowner disputes.
